Intergalactic Relations
N ora offered the appetizing lemonade to the innkeeper as a bribe.
The innkeepers round, crazed face looked suspiciously at the lemonade, then at Nora--this bribe was the last chance to discover the location of the hostages, it had to work!
The innkeeper finally gave in and accepted the lemonade at which point he proceeded to reveal to Nora that the hostages were being held on Pluto guarded by ferocious aliens that looked like eggplants.
Luckily the innkeeper was a special agent, commissioned after the Cold War happened on Pluto, and he freed the hostages.
The hostages rode off on their new horses while the innkeeper prepared to use the war tactics that had saved Pluto to now save Earth.
He would use the same surprise tactic of offering free vacations on beach front properties. The Plutonians are loving this tactic and are now using it to sell vacations on Pluto.
However, the pyramid like vacation homes on Pluto have deteriorated ever since Pluto was demoted from planet status and fed to a black hole.
And thats the way life is out there on Pluto, a fearful sort of hit & miss situation not dissimilar from Wall Street: there one minute and gone the next.
