A Crab's Story

" Order... Order... I will have order in this court!" said the chubby penguin who was the head judge of the Niagara Falls Penguin Society Supreme Court.

The outbursts of bubbles and squeaks emanating from the dolphins--swimming in the submerged section of the courtroom for aquatic creatures--began to subside as the penguin justice of the supreme court hammered his gavel. "The court will continue to hear the case of The State vs Albert Einstein Bottlenose. Any more outbursts will result in immediate dismissal from the courtroom. The prosecution may continue the examination of the defendant."

The elitist prosecutor crab scuttled over to look Albert Einstein Bottlenose square in the face. The hushed animal crowd waited in anticipation to see how the state would proceed in the delicate case. "Mr. Bottlenose," the crab began, "You are aware that the state knows you were having an operation task force created to fight against state troopers?" Bottlenose glanced over at the cute tuna in the jury. He swallowed hard. Now it was time. "I have no idea what you are talking about, Mr. Prosecutor, " he stated emphatically. The crowds reaction was instant.

"GASP!" the aquatic crowd erupted in chorus as the crab prosecutor continued to approach the coral-encrusted witness stand. "This is a foreign concept to you Bottlenose?" the prosecutor continued, undeterred by the evasiveness of his witness. "A lifeguard is dead and you are the only one who was at the scene of the crime, Albert! His classic car was found abandoned just outside your lagoon," the prosecutor pressed on gesturing toward the Hot Wheels Car in the model of the crime scene. "How do you explain that, Mr. Bottlenose?"

"Well I suppose I have no choice but to reveal the details of this interesting story, beginning with my spicy relationship with the lifeguard," answered the crab

A lonely fish overheard the words as it was passing by and told the crab that the Sailors would find him quite Delicious if they caught him.

The crab immediately took the offensive against the sailors and the fish, fraily waving his primitive claw in a mundane way that was one part Snow White and one part cute & cuddly.
